• Efx Ambient combines spectral processing, feedback delay networks and complex effects circuits to create ever-changing atmospheric soundscapes
• Suitable for transitions, texture layers, pads, textural enhancement and modulated ambient effects
• Offers 6 modes, each with its own signal architecture and characteristic tone/space signal paths
• Reflect – Backwards Swells – breaks the input signal down into individual segments and uses them to generate backwards-running swells
• Woven – Tape Stutter – creates shimmering textures with a tape-like quality
• Siren – Stretched Resonance – stretches and blurs harmonic components into resonant, atmospheric soundscapes
• Organist – Harmonic Generation – generates overtones for organ-like, sustained sound textures
• Codec – Lossy Compression – simulates lossy digital compression with artefacts
• Freezes for lo-fi digital degradation
• Sunken – Ominous Atmosphere – combines dark tonal textures with down-pitched reverb to create underwater-like ambient atmospheres
• Provides mode-specific tone parameters
• Offers spatial control via Size, Decay, Width and Modulation for diffuse, dynamic spaces
• Uses an X/Y macro to control both Space (X) and Tone (Y) simultaneously
• Features an Advanced Panel with extended tone and space parameters, utilities and advanced macro programming
• Four modulators – Sequencer, Function, Random and Envelope Follower
• Enables flexible macro and parameter assignments via drag-and-drop routing, with adjustable amount, curve and range
• Input filter for signal pre-processing
• Pre-delay for spatial separation and ducking to ensure transients come through
