Chandler Limited Germanium Preamp/DI

Mono Microphone Preamp/DI Box

The new series of devices from Chandler Limited kicks off with the Germanium microphone preamplifier A completely new design by Wade Goeke, the developer of Chandler Limited

The device features germanium transistors, which enable a completely new, previously unknown sound spectrum Nowadays, no other devices with the sound characteristics of germanium are manufactured The incredibly smooth-sounding germanium transistors also formed the foundation of the early transistor devices from Neve (1053, 1055, 1057), EMI (TG 12345 MK1), Telefunken and Fairchild

Anyone familiar with these classics can confirm the special sound of germanium transistors The Germanium series features a very high headroom of +34 dB As with many vintage devices, the sound is warm and soft, but users can also achieve completely new sound characteristics with the preamp
