Native Instruments Driver

Virtual Effect Plugin (Download)

• Creative filter and distortion plugin with modulation unit
• Versatile effects plugin that combines filters, distortion and complex modulation
• The filter is based on a resonant 12 dB state variable type and can be switched between lowpass and notch
• Its feedback loop contains a dynamic distortion section that can lead to drastic alterations – from subtle sound colouring to self-oscillating feedback
• Envelope follower and an audio modulation unit with internal sine oscillation for modulation
• Operation is via parameters for input, resonance, cutoff frequency, distortion, tone colour, filter type (LPF or notch) and output.
• Envelope follower can influence both cutoff and distortion, either positively or inverted, with adjustable smoothing and release time.
• Modulation source can also be controlled by external signals via sidechain
• AM section offers optional audio or oscillator modulation with selectable clip cut intensity, lag (anti-aliasing), modulation targets (cutoff, distortion) and rate/range control in Osc mode
• Preset system with A/B comparison, user and factory presets, INIT start point and touchscreen compatibility
• Effects & Routing: Filter with feedback distortion, spectral colouration, modulation via envelope and audio/osc source, M/S mode, stereo link, sidechain input
